Over the winter holidays, I gained more weight than I would like to admit, and I realized that I needed to change my lifestyle. So, I began to look at various programs for weight loss, and I realized that I did not want to get on the 3 month quick fix bandwagon. Instead I wanted to change my habits in order to live a healthy lifestyle, so that I never again run into the problem of excess weight.
I decided to challenge myself to work at living healthy for one year, making small changes along the way in order to catapult myself into a permanently healthy lifestyle. I am blogging this journey because I am a blogger (fromshorttolong.com), and I hope that my journey helps someone else out there that just wants to start somewhere.
